Ealing Family Photographer
Family Photography in Ealing, Acton, Hanwell & West London
Natural, documentary-style family photography in Ealing and across West London.
Sessions capture families as they really are - at home, in favourite parks, or exploring Ealing's green spaces. No stiff poses or forced smiles, just honest moments of connection, laughter, and everyday life.
Whether it's relaxed portraits at Walpole Park, an energetic session on Ealing Common, or cosy lifestyle photos at home, every session focuses on your family exactly as you are.
For Families Who Feel Awkward Being Photographed
Most parents dread the idea of a family photoshoot. The forced posing, the pressure to smile on command, the awkwardness of being watched. These sessions work differently.
There's no standing in a line looking at the camera. Instead, families walk, play, chat, and interact naturally while the photography happens around them.
Children lead the way - whether that's feeding ducks at Walpole Park, running across Ealing Common, or building a den in the living room.
Parents consistently say they forgot the camera was there. That's exactly the point.

Ealing's Best Locations for Family Photography
Ealing has some of West London's loveliest parks and green spaces. Here are my favourite spots for family sessions:
Walpole Park: Beautiful landscaped gardens, lakes, and open spaces in the heart of Ealing. The ornamental gardens near Pitzhanger Manor provide stunning backdrops, while the open lawns are perfect for active play. Best in spring when the cherry blossoms are out, or autumn for golden leaves.
Lammas Park: A relaxed green space with tree-lined paths and open meadows. Great for families who want a quieter, less busy setting. The woodland areas provide beautiful dappled light.
Ealing Common: Wide open lawns and mature trees. Perfect for natural, candid family photos with plenty of space for children to run. Less formal than Walpole Park, which works well for energetic sessions.
Gunnersbury Park: Just on the Ealing/Chiswick border, this expansive park offers ornamental gardens, lakes, and historic buildings. The boating pond and temple ruins make lovely backdrops.
Brent River Park (Hanwell): Riverside walks and meadows offering a more natural, peaceful backdrop. Great for families wanting something different from traditional park settings.
I'm always excited to explore new places too, whether it's your favourite local playground, a cosy spot at home, or somewhere special to your family.

Walpole Park is my most popular choice - it has gorgeous gardens, open lawns, and works well year-round. Ealing Common is perfect for active families who want lots of space, while Lammas Park offers a quieter, more intimate feel. I can recommend the best spot based on your family's style.
-
Yes! Many Ealing families choose at-home sessions, especially with newborns or very young children. I can combine indoor lifestyle shots at your home with a short walk to a nearby park like Walpole or Ealing Common.
-
I’m flexible! If the weather is truly awful on your scheduled day, we can easily reschedule to another date so you still get beautiful outdoor family photos in the best possible conditions.
-
Sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours, giving plenty of time for children to warm up, explore, and for natural, relaxed moments to unfold.
-
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! There’s no need for coordinated outfits, the most important thing is that your family feels like themselves. Simple, natural clothing that allows you to move, play, and enjoy the session works best. Of course, if you’d like to coordinate your outfits, that’s perfectly fine too.

Family sessions in Ealing start at £470. This includes 1.5-2 hours of photography and a curated selection of beautifully edited digital images. Full pricing details are on my pricing page.
