Based in Brighton & Hove, I specialise in capturing families across Sussex and am happy to travel to London for sessions too. I love photographing families in spaces that feel meaningful and inspiring. Some of my favourite spots include:

  • Brighton Beach & The Lanes: perfect for vibrant seaside fun or colourful city backdrops.

  • Preston Park, Brighton: wide open green spaces for relaxed family play.

  • Cissbury Ring, Worthing: stunning countryside views and natural landscapes.

  • Hove Beach: a quieter, scenic spot ideal for relaxed family moments.

  • Lewes: charming streets, historic spots, and countryside nearby for timeless family photos.

I’m always excited to explore new places too, whether it’s your favourite local park, a cosy spot at home, or somewhere special to your family story.

The process

Step 01: PRE-CONSULTATION

We’ll discuss your vision for your family photoshoot and I will tell you a bit more about how I work.

Step 02: PENCIL IN A DATE

My diary can fill up quite quickly, so together we can pencil in a date for your photo session as quickly as possible.

Step 03: the photoshoot

This is the fun part! We work at your children’s pace, the focus is on relaxed, natural family portraits that reflect your family story.

Step 04: viewing your images

Approx. 3 weeks after your family session, you’ll be presented with a selection of beautifully edited photos for you to choose from.

Step 05: print orders

All my photography sessions include complimentary print credit that can be used towards all kinds of gorgeous print products, from framed prints to calendars or greeting cards.

 Faqs

  • Absolutely! I love including your pets and additional family members, just let me know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.

  • Yes! Many families love starting at home for natural lifestyle shots and then heading to a favourite park, beach, playground, or Sussex countryside location for outdoor images. This gives a great mix of candid and scenic photos.

  • I’m flexible! If the weather is truly awful on your scheduled day, we can easily reschedule to another date so you still get beautiful outdoor family photos in the best possible conditions.

  • Sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours, giving plenty of time for children to warm up, explore, and for natural, relaxed moments to unfold.

  • Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! There’s no need for coordinated outfits, the most important thing is that your family feels like themselves. Simple, natural clothing that allows you to move, play, and enjoy the session works best. Of course, if you’d like to coordinate your outfits, that’s perfectly fine too.

  • You’ll normally receive your fully edited images via a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. During busier periods, such as Christmas and summer, it may take closer to a month.
