Locations I Love to Shoot In.

Based in Brighton & Hove, I capture families across Sussex and am happy to travel to London for sessions as well.

I’m drawn to spaces that feel meaningful and inspiring, where families can be relaxed and present.

Favourite locations include Brighton Beach and The Lanes for vibrant seaside or colourful city backdrops; Preston Park for wide open green spaces; Cissbury Ring for stunning countryside views; Hove Beach for quiet, scenic moments; and Lewes for charming streets, historic corners, and nearby countryside.

I’m always happy to explore new places too - a favourite local park, a cosy spot at home, or somewhere special to your family story.

The process

Step 01: PRE-CONSULTATION

We’ll discuss your vision for your family photoshoot and I will tell you a bit more about how I work.

Step 02: PENCIL IN A DATE

My diary can fill up quite quickly, so together we can pencil in a date for your photo session as quickly as possible.

Step 03: the photoshoot

This is the fun part! We work at your children’s pace, the focus is on relaxed, natural family portraits that reflect your family story.

Step 04: viewing your images

Around three weeks after your family photo session, you’ll receive a private online gallery showcasing a selection of carefully edited images.

Step 05: print orders

Once you’ve explored your gallery, you can choose from four thoughtfully curated collections to order digital images and/or printed products.

 Faqs

  • Absolutely! I love including your pets and additional family members, just let me know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.

  • Yes! Many families love starting at home for natural lifestyle shots and then heading to a favourite park, beach, playground, or Sussex countryside location for outdoor images. This gives a great mix of candid and scenic photos.

  • I’m flexible! If the weather is truly awful on your scheduled day, we can easily reschedule to another date so you still get beautiful outdoor family photos in the best possible conditions.

  • Sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours, giving plenty of time for children to warm up, explore, and for natural, relaxed moments to unfold.

  • Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! There’s no need for coordinated outfits, the most important thing is that your family feels like themselves. Simple, natural clothing that allows you to move, play, and enjoy the session works best. Of course, if you’d like to coordinate your outfits, that’s perfectly fine too.

  • You’ll normally receive your fully edited images via a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. During busier periods, such as Christmas and summer, it may take closer to a month.
