Twickenham Family & Newborn Photographer | family lifestyle Sessions in West London
Natural family, newborn and maternity photography in Twickenham, Richmond, Teddington and across West London - real moments, honestly documented.
Capture Your Family’s Story
A family photo session isn’t just about a few posed images, it’s about documenting your connections, your laughter, and the love you share.
Whether it’s playing with the kids at home, exploring your favourite Twickenham spot, or wandering in the countryside, I aim to create natural, timeless images you’ll treasure forever.
Meet your Twickenham family photographer.
I’m a mum to Ivy, a Dutchie living in the U.K., and a big sea lover. Photography has been my passion for years, but since becoming a parent, I’ve fallen in love with capturing family life.
I focus on photographing connection and feeling, creating natural and authentic images of families and newborns that tell your real story: no stiff posing, just genuine moments you’ll want to remember.
As well as Twickenham itself, I cover Richmond, Teddington, Strawberry Hill, St Margarets, Hampton, Whitton, and Kew. If you're in TW1, TW2, TW11 or nearby, I'll come to you.
I've photographed families along the Thames path, in Marble Hill Park, and in homes all across TW1 and TW2. Every family is different, and every session finds its own pace - which is exactly how it should be.

“We had a great newborn photoshoot with Irma. I was 9 days post partum and when the time came about a little daunted about doing the photoshoot. However Irma was fantastic! She totally put us at ease and it was a really comfortable experience. The photos are also great, a fantastic reminder of this time!”

Absolutely! I love including your pets and additional family members, just let me know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.
-
Yes - both are among my favourite locations for West London family sessions. Richmond Park especially is hard to beat for space and atmosphere. I'd suggest early morning on weekends to avoid the crowds.
-
I’m flexible! If the weather is truly awful on your scheduled day, we can easily reschedule to another date so you still get beautiful outdoor family photos in the best possible conditions.
-
Sessions typically run 1.5–2 hours, giving plenty of time for children to warm up, explore, and for natural, relaxed moments to unfold.
-
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! There’s no need for coordinated outfits, the most important thing is that your family feels like themselves. Simple, natural clothing that allows you to move, play, and enjoy the session works best. Of course, if you’d like to coordinate your outfits, that’s perfectly fine too.
-
You’ll normally receive your fully edited images via a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. During busier periods, such as Christmas and summer, it may take closer to a month.

Family Photography
Natural family photography in Twickenham. Just be yourselves, and I’ll capture the moments, connections, and emotions that make family life special.
I photograph families at home and outdoors, usually without posing, but I might give gentle guidance for authentic shots.
As a Twickenham family photographer, I enjoy exploring the town and often include the local parks in my family photoshoots.
-

Newborn Photography
Capture your newborn’s growth during their first months. I enjoy newborn photo shoots and feel honoured to be part of new families' journeys.
If you want natural newborn photography with a documentary style, I’m your Twickenham newborn photographer!
I take my time during the shoot, focusing on your baby’s needs. We can mostly do the session at home, but we can also go outside if you prefer.

Maternity Photography
Are you pregnant and considering a maternity photoshoot but feel uneasy about posing for the camera? A maternity session can be relaxed and enjoyable, with very little posing needed.
I would love to capture this special moment naturally for you. I work all over London, including Twickenham, Richmond and Teddington.

Childrens Party Photographer
I can capture special moments like first birthdays, small weddings, anniversaries, and family milestones.
My photos have a documentary style, and with my photojournalistic approach, you don't need to worry about anything.
I shoot spontaneous moments, so there's nothing to prepare.
Sessions are calm and easy-going, guided by your child(ren) and filled with fun, either at home or in Twickenham’s lovely green spaces.

Where we shoot in Twickenham
Marble Hill Park
One of the best-kept secrets for family photography in West London. The wide open parkland in front of the Palladian villa gives you a clean, elegant backdrop without feeling formal, and the ancient sweet chestnut trees along the edges are spectacular in autumn. Quiet on weekday mornings, which makes it ideal for sessions with young children.
The Thames Path & Twickenham Riverside
The river is Twickenham's defining feature and it makes for genuinely distinctive family photographs - the kind that couldn't have been taken anywhere else. The path between Twickenham and Teddington is particularly good: wide, tree-lined, and rarely busy. Works well for families who want a relaxed walk-and-shoot rather than a fixed location.
Richmond Park
A short drive from Twickenham, Richmond Park is extraordinary for family photography - the deer, the ancient oaks, the sheer sense of space. It's one of the few places in London where you can take a photograph and have absolutely nothing urban in the frame. I'd suggest going early on weekend mornings before it gets busy.
At home in Twickenham
Twickenham's Victorian and Edwardian housing stock tends to have exactly the right conditions for in-home sessions - high ceilings, bay windows, good natural light. If you'd rather stay home than head to a park, that works just as well. Some of my favourite sessions have been entirely indoors.
