I create honest, relaxed images that reflect your family as you are right now. Whether at home or outdoors, my sessions are simple, calm, and focused on capturing something real.

Meet Irma!

Mum of Ivy, Dutchie in Sussex, massive sea and beach lover and always thinking about the next camera... Documentary photography has been my passion for many years and, since having my daughter, photographing family life has become my biggest love.

For me, the main goal as a family photographer is to capture genuine connection as it unfolds in the moment. I strongly believe in creating emotive family photos, the images that show love, emotion, and true feelings in a natural and authentic way.

No posing is required during my photo sessions, creating a more genuine and natural experience. I focus on capturing those surprise moments when your child thinks no one is watching, revealing their true self. Our time together will be fun and effortless, with nothing to prepare beforehand, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere for everyone.

For years now, I have had the privilege to photograph hundreds of newborn babies, children and families all across Sussex and Surrey, and I hope to meet you and your family very soon!

    I photograph families at home and outdoors, usually without posing, but I might give gentle guidance for authentic shots.

    As a Dorking family photographer, I enjoy exploring the town and also often include the Surrey Hills in my family photoshoots.

Back at The Secret Campsite near Lewes — second year in a row. There are loads of great places to camp in Sussex, but this one suits us. You park in a field, load your stuff into a wheelbarrow, and walk it along an old railway line to your pitch. No cars, no signal, no noise. Just a decent amount of space and some very enthusiastic birds. It was properly hot this weekend. We spent most of it finding shade, avoiding effort, and the kids had a water fight to stay cool.
