Beckenham Palace Park is my go-to location for outdoor family sessions in the area. With its wide open meadows, mature woodland, and beautiful natural light throughout the seasons, it's the perfect backdrop for relaxed, unposed family photography. In autumn the colours are stunning; in spring and summer the open green spaces give children plenty of room to just be themselves.

Kelsey Park is another favourite - particularly lovely for younger children, with the lake, the wide paths and the wildlife providing plenty of natural distraction (which always makes for the best photos).

If there's a spot that holds special meaning to your family - a park you walk to every Sunday, a green space the kids know by heart - I'm always happy to work with that instead. The best locations are the ones that feel like you.

Hi, I’m Irma. I’m a mum to Ivy, a Dutchie living in the U.K., and a big sea lover. Photography has been my passion for years, but since becoming a parent, I’ve fallen in love with capturing family life.

I focus on photographing connection and feeling, creating natural and authentic images of families and newborns that tell your real story: no stiff posing, just genuine moments you’ll want to remember.

As a mum myself, I know how quickly those early newborn days pass by in a blur, which is why it feels so important to have them documented.

I shoot at home or outdoors - Beckenham Palace Park and Kelsey Park are both favourites depending on the time of year and the age of your children. If you have a spot that feels meaningful to your family, I'm always happy to explore that too.
Weekend slots, especially in spring and summer, tend to fill up a few months ahead. I'd suggest getting in touch as soon as you're thinking about it to avoid missing your preferred season.
For outdoor sessions, we'll keep an eye on the forecast together and reschedule if needed - no stress and no charge. Some of the best light actually comes just after a shower.

Yes - I regularly photograph families across South London including Bromley, Dulwich, Clapham and Crystal Palace. Travel beyond a certain radius may carry a small additional fee, which I'll always be transparent about upfront.
Not at all - honestly, it helps. I don't work with poses or props. Sessions follow your children's lead, so if they're running, climbing or being silly, that's exactly what I'm there to capture.
Your online gallery will typically be ready within 2–3 weeks of the session. From there you choose a collection that suits you, from digital downloads to prints and wall art.
