I offer 2 types of family photoshoots, they are both all about the documentary experience, just select the photo session that feels right for you and your family. I am based in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, but also work all over London and surrounding areas!

Slice Of Life Photoshoot
The Slice Of Life photo session is a 1.5 to 2 hours family photoshoot that's a perfect taster and introduction to documentary family photography.
An informal, fun and relaxed family photoshoot, at home and/or at a location of your choice. No posing, all my family photo sessions have a documentary feel and capture you as a family in the most authentic way possible.
This photoshoot is planned around a family activity. This could be anything, from a trip to the beach or the South Downs, to baking scones, and depends on what you like doing as a family.
My goal is to document your family honestly and objectively.

Morning In The Life Photoshoot
The detailed and in-depth documentary family photoshoot captures your day in unforgettable detail. There's plenty of time to document your typical Saturday or Sunday morning. This 4 to 5 hours family photoshoot will cover your morning routines and traditions and allows time to capture those daily moments that make your family unique.
Baking croissants with your kids on a Sunday morning? A morning walk along Hove seafront? Playing a board game with the children? Some of my favourite photos are of families' daily routines. This is an early morning photo session, but afternoon sessions are also available if you prefer to capture your afternoon routines instead!
You and your family can be yourselves, enjoying your day and your time together, and I am merely there to document your story through my photographs.

Visual Storytelling
Documentary family photography is moment driven, unscripted and is inspired by real life. So you're in luck if you don't like to be in front of a camera. There is zero posing involved and you don't have to worry about what to wear either.
If you're after a unique family photography experience without the fixed grins and awkward poses then documentary family photography is for you. Real life is all we have so let me tell your family story in an authentic way. Everyday life is far from boring!
How does it work?
It's really easy. I will come to your home (or another location if you like) and will document your family story. Before your photoshoot we will have a short phone consultation to discuss your family photo session in a bit more detail. I will answer all your questions and will put your mind at ease that this is going to be a fun and relaxed photography experience!
There's absolutely no need to prepare anything before your family shoot and please don't bother about "the mess" in your house. I am a mum myself and I know spaghetti stains on the sofa, a floor covered with toys and crayon on the walls is just part of family life. I promise you will feel at ease in my company, I will just hang out with you and your family and will bring your family story to life through my photographs.
