Hello, I’m Irma — an award-winning newborn photographer specialising in natural, baby-led photography that captures the quiet, everyday beauty of early parenthood.

While I’m based in Brighton & Hove, I regularly travel across West Sussex for in-home newborn sessions, including Worthing, Shoreham, Lancing, and Chichester. Whether we’re in your home or taking a gentle walk along Worthing Beach, my sessions are relaxed, unposed, and guided by your baby’s pace.

There’s no pressure to pose or prepare. I simply document the moments that unfold naturally — the feeds, the stillness, the soft connection between you and your baby. These are the things you’ll want to remember.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of newborns and families across Sussex, and I’d love to help you tell your story in Worthing—quietly, honestly, and just as it is.

What to Expect from Your Newborn Photoshoot in Worthing

My newborn sessions are designed to be slow-paced, baby-led, and entirely pressure-free. I’ll come to your home in Worthing—whether you’re based near the seafront, tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, or close to the South Downs—so you and your baby can stay comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Each session lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, with plenty of time for feeds, changes, and breaks. I work around your routine, observing quietly and photographing what unfolds naturally: the soft looks, sleepy cuddles, early expressions, and the quiet rhythm of your new life together.

There’s no need to pose or prepare anything in advance. Your home, just as it is, provides the perfect backdrop for honest storytelling. If you’re nearby and the weather’s kind, we can also take a short walk outside—for gentle family moments by Worthing Beach or surrounded by the peaceful scenery of the South Downs.

Back at The Secret Campsite near Lewes — second year in a row. There are loads of great places to camp in Sussex, but this one suits us. You park in a field, load your stuff into a wheelbarrow, and walk it along an old railway line to your pitch. No cars, no signal, no noise. Just a decent amount of space and some very enthusiastic birds. It was properly hot this weekend. We spent most of it finding shade, avoiding effort, and the kids had a water fight to stay cool.
